Carolina Custom Threads is a family-owned custom apparel shop serving Davidson, NC — the walkable college town about 20 miles north of Charlotte, where Main Street, the Village Green, and the Davidson College campus all sit within a few blocks of each other. Whether you run a shop on Main Street, sell at the Saturday farmers market, coach a team at River Run, or organize volunteers for Christmas in Davidson, we make it easy to get professional custom apparel delivered right to your door. Free mockup on every order, no payment until you approve.
Staff Apparel for Main Street & South Main Businesses
Davidson's downtown is almost entirely locally owned — bookstores, boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants along Main Street and South Main that live on a small-town, know-your-name feel. Staff tees, aprons, and embroidered polos are part of that experience. We match your brand colors exactly at no upcharge, and the Davidson Farmers Market vendors who set up downtown every Saturday from spring through fall get the same treatment: aprons, hats, and tees that make your booth easy to remember.
Event & Volunteer Shirts for Davidson Traditions
Davidson does community events better than almost anywhere in the Charlotte area. Christmas in Davidson fills Main Street and the Village Green with thousands of visitors every December, alongside the Rotary's Giving Tree Village, and the North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade starts on Main Street before heading into Cornelius. Add the fall costume parade, church events, 5Ks, and nonprofit fundraisers, and there's always a crowd that needs to be organized. Matching volunteer shirts make helpers easy to spot and sponsors visible — from budget one-color prints to full-color DTF designs, with a standard ten-business-day turnaround.
Apparel for Campus Groups & College-Area Businesses
Davidson College brings 19 NCAA Division I Wildcats teams, summer athletic camps, and a busy calendar of student life to the center of town. We print and embroider for student organizations, club teams, camp staff, and the businesses that serve the campus community. One note so there are no surprises: apparel that uses official Davidson College names or logos requires the college's licensing approval, so we'll design your group's own artwork or work through that approval with you.
Spirit Wear for Davidson Schools
Davidson families send their kids to Hough High's Huskies along with Cornelius, plus a mix of public, charter, and private schools in and around town, including the Community School of Davidson. We print class shirts, PTA fundraiser tees, staff shirts, field day shirts, and booster club apparel — the same free-mockup, no-upfront-payment process whether it's 24 shirts for a classroom or several hundred for a school-wide spirit day.
Team Gear for Davidson Youth Sports
From the fields at River Run and Davidson parks to the travel teams that play all over the Lake Norman area, Davidson keeps kids moving year-round. We outfit rec and travel teams with roster tees, jerseys, hoodies, hats, and branded sideline tents, and coaches and team parents see a free mockup before anyone pays a cent.
